Rui Mizuki, born in 1983, is an artist who holds a Ph.D. in Media Art from the Graduate School of Fine Arts, Kyoto City University of Arts. Using multiplicity, behavior, intervention, translation, and space as keywords, and connecting them to issues in urban culture and art history, he works on the themes of \u201cencounter with the outside of convention,\u201d \u201covercoming boundaries,\u201d and \u201cinterpretation of the other.\u201d In recent years, Mizuki has been interpreting the concept of \u201cnature\u201d as the \u201cother side of human activity\u201d and creating works using vari-ous media to delve into this concept.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
